On to Koupela

Saturday. Before leaving for the Koupela Event we began with Ana giving me a walking tour of the town to see Noelie's poultry farm , a church, and then the soccer field. A group of about 50 or more kids accompanied us along the way. We then stayed around til almost 11 a.m. For the start of the annual educational, cultural and sport competition in the Daro region. This is the 7thyear of the competition. Christophe spoke for the parents along with the inspector of the schools. There was a brief dance and theatre presentation followed by a brief expression of gratitude from me and best wishes along with a prize for the winning team. I realized at the last minute that it needed to be adjusted for 3 more players(subs) on each team. I repeated to applause again "duniya faa..."
