Project Contributions:
Thanks to your generous contributions, FBF is able to support a number of community-based projects in Burkina Faso. Projects are described in the current, and past, editions of the Burkina Connection.
Non-restricted - for any FBF-supported project :
FBF supports a range of projects to assist villagers to improve their incomes and the health and education of their children.
Lambs for School Project :
An $80 donation supports 13 years of education for a young village girl through this self-help program. The first year, each girl receives school materials and a lamb. Her parents raise & sell the lamb, & buy a new lamb and their daughter's school materials, each year thereafter.
College Modern de l'Amitie lunch project :
Funds support a school lunch program (at a cost of $.40/day/girl) for village girls who walk 6 kms to & from school and have no source of food throughout the day.
